It’s the longest day of the year and tennis season is in full swing! Here’s a quick rundown of how our 3 doubles teams are faring in the local summer tennis leagues. Click on the table for a closer look!…

Both our First and Second mixed teams are doing a spectacular job so far in the York & District Mixed league. Our first team is sitting at the top of the table in Division 6 with a healthy 10 point tally midway through the season, racking up 5 wins from the last 6 matches played. They’re followed hot on the heels by Appleton Roebuck and David Lloyd, who both have a game in hand.

Our second team is having a phenomenal season so far in Division 10, with 6 wins in a row, narrowly falling a few games short in a hotly-contested matchup with newcomers Selby. It’s tight at the top of the Division 10 table with Appleton Roebuck following closely behind the top two, with everything still to play for!

Our fantastic ladies team is currently defending their position in Division 2 of the Fulford Ladies League. Just a couple of points separate them from their nearest competition in the form of Boston Spa, Pocklington & Starbeck. Two or three wins from the final five games should be enough to secure a spot in division 2 next year.
