After 27 years of saving (along with some very generous donations) we’re delighted to have achieved our long-term goal of resurfacing the old tennis courts! However, with the club’s account balance now wiped out from the £34,000 upgrade, we need to find ways to raise a final £5,000 to repaint the courts before the new tennis season starts in the spring.

The club is exploring all avenues – fundraising events like the summer pizza tournament, special membership options, donations and local grants are all in the works.

To help the cause, some of our members will be putting their bodies on the line running the 26.2 mile Yorkshire Marathon in aid of Wistow Tennis Club. If you can, please show your support for Nick (taking on his very first marathon) Chris (making a comeback from injury) and George (running the 10 mile) as they aim to cross that distant finish line on October 20th!
