Wistow Tennis Club

Wistow Tennis Club is a thriving LTA club with lots to offer players of all abilities. Whether your a seasoned regular or just fancy getting back in the swing. Get in touch or head down to one of our Social Tennis club nights held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7pm.

The club has three excellent floodlit hardcourt tennis courts. The courts received a major upgrade in 2025 with a brand new playing surface, along with new LED floodlights. These upgrades now give Wistow some of the very best tennis courts in whole of the York and district area.

Teams

We have four teams competing in local tennis leagues. Our mixed teams compete in divisions 4 and 8 in the York & District Mixed Tennis League, our ladies team competing in division 2 of the Fulford Ladies Invitation Tennis League and our new men’s team competing in division 7 of the York Men’s Tennis League. We’re always on the look out for new players to join our teams, so please contact us if you would like to give it a go!

Tennis coaching

We’re excited to be rolling out a brand new coaching setup at Wistow Tennis Club with our fantastic new tennis coach Harry Full. As a LTA level 4 coach, Harry offers coaching for all ages and experience levels, including group coaching, private and one-to-one lessons and junior tennis camps.
