The club had a cracking turnout for this year’s ‘Summer Tournament and Nibbles’ competition held this August bank holiday weekend.

With 17 competitors eager to strut their stuff on court, play began after the drawing of names to determine mixed team partners.

After 3 hours of play in the sizzling summer sunshine, everyone was looking forward to the feast that followed. A timely delivery of pizzas was gobbled up in record time, with home made cakes, buns and trifles on offer to replenish the calories burned.

Sharing the title for the top scoring ladies, Lisa and Gayle took home the prestigious title and well earned prizes, with Nick coming in as the top scoring man.
